The Andis® UltraEdge™ Clipper Blade uses the latest technology available to extend blade life, these clipper blades are made from a high-carbon steel and then processed through a revolutionary carbonizing heat treatment that actually adds carbon to the existing metal. This provides the UltraEdge™ Clipper Bade with a razor sharp edge that will extend the blade life. Each Andis clipper blade must meet stringent quality standards and is hand tested prior to shipping. The Andis UltraEdge™ Blade has a Rockwell hardness rating of 65 and is compatible with all Andis®, Oster™, Laube™, Conair™ and Wahl™ detachable dog clippers.
