Similar to the bittern, Wallace's rail has short, rounded wings, large feet and long toes. Bukti Suyasa depicts a pair of the secretive little birds in hand-painted sculptures. Carved of Balinese albesia wood, they receive an antique finish and can be detached from their durian wood stands.
